It is rare that we take a little time to relax and enjoy each other's company. That is partly because we continue to focus on our challenges and not on our victories. So here is one of those opportunities for activists from all environment, democracy and social justice movements to come together for a little socializing (and networking). We'll have a "sociable", reconnect with each other, and leave inspired. For many of you who were in Quebec City last spring and for those who were not able to be there the video "Fenced Off!" will be shown (12 minutes). TIME : 4-6pm Wednesday February 27 (we _may_ be able to stay later) PLACE: SMU Student Union Building Pub COST: there may be a small admission fee or donation requested. The event is being organized by a group of student activists at Saint Mary's, thank them, not me.
