Friends, colleagues, and admirers of Jan Slakov are invited
to participate in a short skit celebrating Jan, to be performed at the
Janboree on April 19 (information about the event itself is pasted below)

If you are interested in helping with the skit, please bring your ideas
and creativity to a rehearsal at the EAC on Monday night, April 15, at
6:30, or contact Mark or me for more info.

PIG-PLANTING NEIGHBOUR GETS PROBATION
A court case in Pictou County gives new meaning to the phrase, "the
neighbours are a bunch of pigs."  A 55-year-old man has received a year's
probation after he placed three pigs on the edge of his property, hoping
the stink would drive his neighbours away.
