Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested in applying to sit
on this working group.

 In today's Halifax Chronicle Herald there is a large ad from the
government of NS "Applications Invited Agencies Boards and Commissions"
One position they are looking to fill is on the "Species at risk working
group".
This is further described in a footnote to the ad stating:
"Applications are being sought from persons who are recognized
scientific experts in status and population biology of plants, animals,
other organisms and their habitats or in the conservation biology,
ecology and geography of plants, animals and other organisms."

Anyone interested in serving on thie  wokring group or any others
described in the ad should send a resume and cover letter  outlining
specific interest in the position and specifying how one's employment
history, volunteer experience and education relate to the requirements

There are a few other agencies looking for members that are of interest
to enviromentalists.. Ie Primary forest products marketing board is
looking for an alternate-woodlot owner ad the Farm Practices Board has
openings for two.

Sorry for any cross postings.  I'm trying to spread this as wide as
possible. The more applications the better.
