Hi Sust-Mar!

There is a new group forming:

The Nova Scotia Cyclist Safety Association (NSCSA)
The founding focus of this group is to provide opportunities for people to
learn to bicycle safely in Nova Scotia.

This will be a registered "Bike Club" with Bicycle Nova Scotia, and its
first event will be to organize guided rides and a cycling safety session
during Bike-to-Work Week (June 3-7, 2002).

I'm doing most of the work on this right now. If you want to help, at
this point, the group needs:

- An official Secretary - (at least in name - I don't think there will be
many meeting minutes to record).
- volunteer guides (experienced cyclists) to help with "Guided Rides" in
the mornings of Bike-to-Work Week. (contact me for details and schedules)
- volunteer instructors for a "Cycling Safety Session" to be held on
Thursday evening, June 6, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. (Location still to be
determined, but probably either Bloomfield Centre or George Dixon Centre.)

Any assistance appreciated.
