RESIDENTS DUMP ON PROSPECTIVE LANDFILL SITE
     Halifax Regional Council got an earful Wednesday
night from residents in the Antrim area. They came out in force to show
their opposition
to a proposed landfill for construction 
and demolition waste.

ENVIRONMENT MINISTER DOUBTS MORE FEDERAL MONEY WILL LAND IN HARBOUR
The federal Environment Minister says Ottawa just can't afford to foot the
entire bill to clean-up the Halifax harbour. The federal government has
promised to spend $30 million on the project.
