Sadly I have to report that the small "lunch park" at the corner of
South and South Park has been turned into a parking lot for the VG.

Was there any community discussion on this? I am sorry to say that I
heard not a sound, but may simply be busy with a number of other issues.
What about Urban Issues people?

NOVA SCOTIA, OTTAWA FEUD OVER OFFSHORE REVENUES
 Big hitters from the federal government and Canada's energy industry
were in Halifax Friday looking for ways to encourage offshore energy
development in the region. The industry got what it wanted: a promise to
cut red tape. But, a federal Liberal leadership candidate got shot down
