Hi, everyone. I just received word of an interesting
upcoming event, organized by Katimavik and local youth
from the South Shore.

WHAT: The Sounds of Organics
WHEN: Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Lunenburg Community Centre / 21-D Green Street
Note: Lunenburg is 92km from Halifax off Hwy 103

Line-up:
Raging Grannies, Health Canada, Just Food and others

Topics for presentation and discussion:
Food irradiation, local vs. global farms, organics

There will also be music.
Bring instruments to join in the jam!

They are still looking for speakers to present
information about organic eating (why eat organic?
impact on our health, the environment, etc.) and
related topics. If you are interested in joining the
panel, please call Malaika before Friday at 543-4995.

This is a youth-run event, so your support will be
most welcome.

Everybody welcome.
