Discover more about our oceans and work being done on your behalf to
explore, conserve and protect our aquatic environment and marine life.

Spend time with us on Oceans Day where you can see and feel (if you dare)
sea creatures in our touch tank! 

Listen to live sounds from Halifax harbour!
View live video from an undersea surveillance vehicle.
Hear whales, view the seabed in three dimensions, and check out the Coast
Guard rescue cutter Sambro.
Learn about species at risk, the effects of climate change, federal and
provincial support to oceans-related research and commerce, and efforts to
maintain public safety.

Admission is FREE.
Look for the large tent in the museum's court yard.
Enjoy the music of "Crossession" with special guest
Alistair Macdonald.  Prizes! Fun for all ages!
