 2. EAC has green gifts for sale!

---------------------------------------

(a) Cycle and Recycle wall calendar 2004!
You won't find these in stores... The only place in NS you'll find these bicycle calendars is at the EAC!

The calendar can be used 2004, 2032 and 2060 when the same calendar comes round again. Thirty fabulous photos, most of them in color, depict a bicycle culture without borders -- from the downtowns of London and Toronto to the waterfronts of Philadelphia and Gateshead to the remote roads of India and Vietnam. Thought-provoking quotes and illustrations round out the cycling/recycling theme with ideas about the future of transportation, buildings and design. Captions are in both english and french.

$15 each (plus $2 postage).

(b) Save Money, Save Energy with energy efficient light bulbs and LED Christmas lights.

The florescent bulbs last 10,000 hours and come n the following sizes:

13 watt (= 60 watt bulb) 2 for $17 or $9 each

20 watt (= 75 watt bulb) $10 each

25 watt (= 100 watt bulb) $11 each

The LED Christmas lights use 80 - 99% less power and last 100-200 times longer than traditional christmas light bulbs! And they're beautiful! Come in red and gold and blue, 100 light and 70 light strings, indoor and outdoor. $25

(c) Gift memberships -- The easiest and most thoughtful gift you can give this holiday season is just a phone call away! The Ecology Action Centre has taken the liberty of making your holiday shopping woes a thing of the past by offering GIFT MEMBERSHIPS! Memberships are as low as $15 per year for students and seniors and only $30 per year otherwise! As our membership grows, so too does the voice calling for ecological well being in Nova Scotia.
