Dear Susters;
	Just a reminder that the future of the Halifax region is now being
planned, so **now** is the time that our voices have the best chance to
be heard on many critical matters, instead of later on when the planning
process is further advanced. In addition to public hearings on various
issues, there is an excellent on-line survey regarding green and open
spaces priorities and issues:

http://www.halifax.ca/regionalplanning/openspacethankyou.htm

This survey includes **plenty** of opportunity for comments - and given
the number of surveys likely to be completed (ie, relatively few,
compared to the total population!), well-written comments are likely to
be fairly carefully read and considered by those compiling and
summarizing the results of the survey, for consideration by city planners.

Please note that people from outside the HRM area can fill out this
survey as well!!

-Ross Mayhew
(Timberlea).
