Friends:
There are still a few spaces left in our Social Justice Youth Camp - (see
below.) August 28 - Sept 1. This is a great opportunity for young people
(15 - 19 yr. old) to deepen their work towards peace, sustainability and
justice. Meet new friends! Build community! Be prepared to be transformed!

Please share this invitation with anyone who might be interested!

Peace,

Tatamagouche Centre presents a
Social Justice Youth Camp
August 28 - September 1, Sat. 10 am - Wed. 4 pm

A Youth camp that makes a difference! Join this second annual exciting and
energizing camp for youth aged 15-19 who are interested or active in social
justice issues in their schools, communities, religious and other
organizations. Gather with youth from around the Atlantic provinces to
discuss what living peacefully means, practice radical cheerleading, and
learn about getting your message to the media. Learn tools and strategies
for creating a better world. Sessions will be dynamic, fun and like nothing
you've ever seen before. A team of young adults from the region who
actively live out their struggles for social change will facilitate the
camp.

Leadership: Anna Sheridan-Jonah, Program Resource Group and Steve Law,
Program Development Team. Cost: $300. Some bursaries available

Contact the Registrar, Tatamagouche Centre for details at 1-800-218-2220.
