Thanks! ____________________________________________________________________________ After 20 years of holding its national biannual convention in Central or Western Canada, the Green party has decided to hold its next convention in Atlantic Canada. "I think the fact that Atlantic Canada's Greens so quickly filled a full slate of 32 federal candidates in June came as a pleasant surprise to the national Greens and they decided we could just as easily pull off a big national convention,"says NS Green organizer Michael Marshall, just back from this year's convention in Calgary. A spot close to New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia is most likely so that a good turnout of Atlantic Canada Greens can be expected.
