Thanks! ____________________________________________________________________________ “Climate Change: Local Perspectives, Global Conditions, Co-operative Responses” On November 6th, 2004 the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC) will be partnering with the Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA) to host a public forum entitled: “Climate Change: Local Perspectives, Global Conditions, Co-operative Responses”. This one day event will feature a number of engaging speakers including Dr.Cristian Suteanu (a Department of Geography professor at St. Mary’s University), Rebecca O'Brien of the Ecology Action Centre, O.T.E.S.H.A. (a youth action organization), as well as representatives from other local organizations. Presentations by speakers will be followed by small group discussions. This exciting forum will be held at the Nova Scotia Community College in Halifax. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend, along with people working in the Climate Change field. There will be space made available to organizations wishing to display information. The nominal $5 registration fee for this forum will be donated to a local organization working on Climate Change issues.
