Thanks! ____________________________________________________________________________ EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Chapters of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society are seeking a project coordinator to oversee and deliver a project aimed at conserving a wildlife corridor in the Chignecto isthmus. The ideal candidate will be familiar with wilderness conservation issues in the Maritimes and have experience networking with NGO's, community groups, academic institutions, and government. Previous experience in the coordination and delivery of conservation projects with a non-profit organization is desired. Experience with report writing and public speaking are significant assets. Preference may be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree or better in a relevant field. The project coordinator will be based out of the CPAWS office in Halifax. The position is 30 hours /week ($12/hour) for 7 months, with possibility of extension.
