The Atlantic Council for International Cooperation would
like to invite you to attend our Public Engagement Symposium and Annual
General Meeting (AGM), from the evening of Friday, May 13 to Sunday, May
15, 2005. The theme of this year's event is: "Making Poverty History".
The Symposium and AGM will be held at Mount Allison University in
Sackville, New Brunswick .
The Keynote Speaker will be Dr.Ralph Hazelton, a professor of Economics
with many years experience in senior management of projects in numerous
countries in Africa.
The Public Engagement Symposium will include workshops and panel
discussions on such topics as Making Poverty History - Local and
International Perspectives; Ethical Images in Poverty; conflict
resolution in a cross cultural context and others. The AGM will be held in
the afternoon on Saturday, May 14th .
The registration form and the agenda can be found on ACIC's webpage at:
www.acic-caci.org or requested by email at intern@acic-caci.org. If you
have problems accessing either, please contact us. Please note that ACIC
will be covering the cost of all meals at the event and one night's
accommodation for organizations/individuals that need it.
