The YWCA is holding its annual fundraiser, "Over the Garden Gate"
(previously known as Gardens on Sunday), on Sunday June 12th, noon - 6.
This is a self-guided tour of nine personal gardens throughout Halifax,
Bedford and Dartmouth. This is a great opportunity to visit some beautiful
gardens for ideas & tips, and simple enjoyment.
Tickets are 15$, and can be purchased at the YWCA and Farmer Clem's
locations throughout HRM. Your ticket includes maps to all gardens.
For over 130 years, Halifax YWCA has worked to improve the lives of women
and families. Funds raised by this event will help the YW provide shelter
services for women, and contribute to the Leadership in Action program for
young women.
