Marilyn Waring in St. John's, Newfoundland this Tuesday!

Tuesday, June 28th, 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Marilyn Waring, Ph.D, is a Professor of Public Policy at Massey University
in New Zealand, and is a former Member of Parliament serving for 9 years.
She is the author of several books including: Counting for Nothing (1988)
that is the basis of the National Film Board documentary Who's Counting?
Sex, Lies and Global Economics; Three Masquerades: Essays on Equality, Work
and Human Rights (1996); and In the Lifetime of A Goat (2004). Dr. Waring
has led major development projects for the United Nations Development
Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and the Development Fund
for Women.
