If you supply flyers of your special events to the Federation, they will be included with the mailing of the Calendar, and will be published in the
"Dance Flyers" page of this web site. Distribution reaches all member square and round dance clubs in Nova Scotia, associated organizations, and individual subscribers. (

The Calendar serves two purposes:
(1) To keep your club members informed of upcoming events. Therefore, post the paper copy of the Calendar in a prominent place, and if possible disribute copies to your members. Spread the word about this on-line version.
(2) To help avoid conflicts between dances. Please try not to schedule your dance on a date already selected, especially if the scheduled dance is listed in bold type. Bold type listings are club Special Dances.

How to Publicize your Dance in the Calendar of Events
If you wish to have Flyers (letter size or smaller) of your special events distributed in the mail with the paper edition of the Calendar of Events, please supply the following number of copies to the Publications Officer.

The Federation Calendar of Events is updated and published monthly (single issue for June/July/August and for December/January). All information received by the middle of the month will be included and distributed before the next month begins. This Internet Version is revised as new information is received.
Make sure that events planned by your club are included and that the inform-ation is complete and correct.
See FORM for submitting information.
For events far in the future only the name and date are necessary, but as soon as additional information is finalized, have it included.
