For those of you who can't make it during the day, please come join us Tuesday evening to share family info with New Harbour family researchers as well as local residents.

The first settlers of New Harbour included many emigrant Scots. They arrived ca. 1808 and have ties to families of almost every other town in Guysborough Co. - HENDERSON, MCKAY, LUDDINGTON, O'HARA, SANGSTER, KIRBY, WHITMAN, NICKERSON, GILLIE, STEWART, MILLER, WRIGHT, HULL, HORTON, CROOKS, SPONAGLE, DAVIDSON, GAMMON, DICKIE, JEFFERIES, etc., etc.
