Sunday, Mar 19th - Executive's/events meeting at 2 pm in the Nova Room at the Howard Johnson's Motel Truro
April 28-30th - Radical Speed Sport Moncton Coliseum. Greater Moncton Corvette Club display. Room for a few CCNS cars. Contact Jacques Bossy GMCC.
Sunday, May 28th - 2006 Tour of Doug MacDonald's (Moncton) personal Corvette collection. Also we will learn the proper way to detail a vehicle. Meet at Elmsdale Tim Horton's (time to be announced later).
Friday, June 2-4th - Bar Harbour tour in Maine. 2006 Vettes of Coastal Maine. See details at http://vettesofcoastalmaine.org/portal or email anndoug@gwi.net .
Saturday, June 10th - Corvette Mania Show n Shine at MacDonald Pontiac, Moncton. Show starts at noon. Pre-register at http://www.corvettesandexotics.com. Meeting spots for the drive up are: Tim Horton's, Elmsdale at 8:45am, Tim Horton's Debert 9:30am, Tim Horton's Oxford at 10:00am.
Friday, June 16th/Sunday, June 18th - RVV Show'N'Shine hosted by River Valley Vettes, Fredericton. will be RVV Show and Shine held downtown Fredericton. This is a great location and they are planning stuff for Friday night, always a great time, see Newsletter for more details.
Saturday, June 24th - we are trying to get two events on for the same day, Bishop's Landing from 11am to 2pm, most of us got there around 10am last year. Last year Bishop's Landing provided pizza and pop for everyone. This is a great location right on the Halifax Water front, lots of great views and great fun. Forbes Chev/Olds Dartmouth 3pm to 6pm with a short drive to Speed World. Forbes would like us to do a victory lap around the track, plus they are going to pay for everyone's ticket to watch the racing that night. They hope to have the dyno at the show also. You can do 1 or both, this should work out good for anybody that has to come any distance, 2 for 1 deal. Meeting spots: Kent Building Supplies Truro at 8:45am, Tim's in Elmsdale 9:20.
Sunday, July 2nd - - Karl & Juanita's drive and BBQ at Porter's Lake. This was a very good event last year. I think we had 18 Corvettes for this one. We took some back roads to Porter's Lake, had a feast and went out on the lake in their boat. Meet at Tim's in Elmsdale at 1pm, for a Cruise & BBQ.
Thurs, July 6th - Sunday, July 9th - Greater Moncton Corvette Club's, Show & Shine will be on July 8th, again this year they will be combined with the Atlantic Nationals, July 6,7,8,& 9th. This could be the last year they combine with the Nationals as their 5 year obligation is up. Plenty to see and do, they had around 1500 cars last year at the Nats. Approximately $20.00 to enter your Corvette for the show. Times for leaving are: Elmsdale 9am; Debert 10am and Oxford 10:30 same as before.
Friday, July 14th -7:30 PM The Quinpool Cruise - Follow the cars on Quinpool as they start to linup early. Approximately 200 cars attended last year. A parade of cars will tour downtown to Point Pleasant Park and then travel in a round about way back to Quinpool Road. (not a club event)
Saturday, July 15th - Quinpool Road Show n Shine 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Quinpool Road. (Not a club event)
Sunday, July 16th -16th Ross & Carla will be hosting a drive around South Shore. We all had a great time last year in Bridgewater, it is sure to be another hit, don't miss it. South Shore Tour July 16th. Ross and I drove the route yesterday in our corvette and the roads are great, and the scenery is wonderful. There is a small stretch (3-4km) of dirt road, but there are no potholes at all. You can look up The Ovens Park on the internet (www.ovenspark.com/) and get an idea about the park. The restaurant is right on site and they will take reservations for a large group. Should be a fun time, Will post meeting times at a later date.
Sunday, July 16th - 9th Annual Canadian Tire Clayton Park 8th Annual Car Show - 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM. All proceeds go to the IWK Hospital. All years/makes and models welcome. Excellent Music, Food and Prizes. Admission $2.00, Participants Free (donations Appreciated) (Not a club event)
Sunday, July 23rd - Miller Tire 1st Annual Show & Shine- 16 Gloria McCluskey Ave. Burnside Near Atlantic Tractors & Cat Rental Store - before "S" turns 10 am to 3 pm (Non Club Event)
Saturday, July 29th - Maritime Meet 2006, Stuart Pontiac, Truro. Corvette Club of Nova Scotia Show & Shine at Stuart Pontiac, Registration starts at 9 am. Show runs from noon to 3:30. Trophy's 3:30-4pm . Please mark this on your Calendar. More details will follow.
Friday, Aug. 4-6th - Corvettes of Southern New Brunswick Show'N'Shine, Brett Chev Olds, St. John. Details to follow. Leaving times are: Elmsdale at 7:50 am; Debert at 8:45 am; and Oxford at 9:15 am.
Friday, Aug. 5-6th - Slalom racing @ Slemon Park, PEI. $57.00 for 2 days of racing, includes t-shirt and BBQ Saturday night. (Of Interest) The most fun you can have legally with your Vette.
Monday, August 17th - 23rd - Wasaga Beach, Ontario being organized by Jacques Bossy and his wife, Monique of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club. The trip will be to Wasaga Beach, Ontario, August 17-23, 2006. Jacques e-mail address is:bossyjr@csc-scc.gc.ca or phone 506-843-6113.

Saturday, Sept. 9th/Sunday, Sept. 10th - 2006 PEI Corvette Club Show and Shine - president's tour-PEI. I'm hoping Greater Moncton will join us again this year. We will go across on the ferry and tour the opposite side this year. Details to follow.
Sunday, Sept. 17th - Fall Frolic, yes it is back, hosted by Betty-Mae. This is always a great event. Details to follow.
Sunday, Oct. 1st - Vice-President run to the Valley, Hosted by Calvin. Details to follow.

Sunday, Oct. 29th - 2006 Combined Presidents CCNS/GMCC Run from Amherst to Truro, via Pugwash with a BBQ in Wentworth at the Palmers Residence (RSVP required) Details will be in the September Newsletter.
