Betty Mae's Mystery Cruise 2003
We all meet at Zeller's in Truro, and after some (a lot) of talking we
were off on the mystery run, we followed Betty Mae to the Greenhill Park for
an awesome view of the valley, then we went to Christensen Vegetable Farm
in Alma, Pictou Co. to buy some fresh vegetables and to our surprise Betty Mae
had a couple of gifts for us. First the owner of the farm gave everyone a
coupon for a dozen sweet corn that we can get next year, Betty Mae made Corvette
piggy banks (piggy bank that has Corvette Cruisin on the side) so we can all
start saving for Corvettes @ Carlisle 2005, plus we got a hat that said "Corvette
3rd annual Fall Frolic" on it. Next we were off to "Big Island". It's a beautiful island about
45 minutes past New Glasgow, we will have to come back here again in warmer
weather to enjoy the great beach and the sand dunes. After we stopped at Mulligan's
for supper, we said our good-byes and then, we were off with another great
run under our belts and some memories to help us thru the winter. Thank-you
Betty Mae.
