The gate of the citadel fortress
As you climb the stairs from the base of Citadel Hill, past the Town Clock, and upwards toward the Citadel, you can see the commanding view of harbour and approaches that made the Citadel a powerful fortification.
Having reached the top of Citadel Hill, you find yourself in front of the Citadel's main gate.
