to ABCC format for loading into Oracle tables.
Converted 75 script programs to allow the operator to reprint a report
   without rerunning the entire job.
Gathered documentation on production systems and learned the Moncton ABCC
   development environment.

Student Programmer	Summer 2000
Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth
The purpose of the project was to load Scallop Meat Sample data into an
ORACLE database from Excel files. We met with the clients to discuss
issues to be resolved in order to fit the data into the data model. We
wrote scripts to create the temporary tables, to load the different raw
data files, to update and validate the data, then to populate the data
model with the data from the temporary tables. Under my mentor's
supervision I prepared the Software Development Request Form,
Requirements Document, Entity Relationship Diagram, Work Breakdown
Structure, Data Dictionary Document, Loader User Guide, Test Procedure
Report, System Documentation and the System Improvement Report.
