Earth and Sea

You crash upon my shores,
You pound upon my rocks,
You disrupt my slowly shifting earth,
With your fluid emotion.

Your raging storms hammer my coast,
Causing change, forced to acknowledge
The chaos theory, which goes hand in hand, with "love".

Thoughts of You

Dipping and soaring,
Wheeling and circling,
Flying straight, flying round,
Flying high, flying low,
Warmed by the light, cooled by the wind,
Distracting, affectionate.
Thoughts of you.

The Dream

All today I've thought of
The dream I had last night,
You and I were together,
And never would we fight.

We never had to say sorry,
We never were left to brood,
We never were apart,
Your presence was always good.

Just a dream, hooray for that!
How boring it would be,
To have our feelings stay the same,
Not to pay a fee.

The bird who never flies in storms,
Can't learn to soar on high,
The lover who has never lost,
Has never learned to try.

The Journey

Thoughts of you caress my mind,
And lull me off to sleep,
As I plummet from that sun filled sky,
Into waters dark and deep.

The sky is what we see and do,
and what we think as well,
But the sea is all we feel and touch,
And all we never tell.

I want us to hoist the sail and cruise,
To the horizon far away,
I want to fly with you by my side,
To new lands strange and fey.

I want to see the sunset in your eyes,
A moment where worlds meet,
Then perhaps I'll know what life holds,
The direction of our feet.

There'll be sharks and storms on the way,
We can go around or through,
And although I could make this journey alone,
I want it to be with you.

The little mermaid...

SUNRISE

Into
dawn's
fresh heaven
she bugles forth
her rainbowed majesty
with prismatic reeds of red
born cesarean from darkness' bed
Royal purple hues dispel night's blacks
and blues to reveille the oven's
blasting tapestry of flames
and the burgundy horn
Trumpets morning
and youthful
golden
Rays

SUNSET

Into
even's
kaleidoscope
of mirrored morn
the crepuscular waltzs
matures the horizon's blush
Silver laced cornucopia of color
plums and orange mom's still-life hush
quilting mankind with its shadow
A jet ebony horn plays taps
for firmament's prism
while a memorial
laser wreath
paints
Rays.

Ballad of the Fallen

I used to be big and strong,
I used to have something within,
I used to have those healing hands,
I used to be a Paladin.

I had a horse so smart and fine,
I had a sword that knew my name,
I had some friends who needed me,
I found and kept a coat called blame.

I should have seen the omens dire,
I should have heard those little fears,
I should have never been so confident,
I should have never tasted his tears.

Now I'm afraid all of the time,
Now Death walks softly close behind,
Now I live without a name,
With those death screams in my mind.

Its time to leave these poisoned shores,
Its time to rise or slide back in,
Its time to end this misery,
Its time to judge mistake from sin.

Now I shout....and cry...

" Help me climb out of the dark,
Help me build once more the woman,
Help me find HIS love again,
Help me ! I don't know if I can...? "

P/S/
I Did trust the tide
His Love was never lost
It was all in my mind...
The new moon told me
Lift your head and cry no more.........
