" Do Re Mi and Wonderful Town "


This week's show looked at two recent recordings of two classic shows with lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Do Re Mi, with music by Jule Style, was recorded from the 1999 Encores! City Center Great Musicals in Concert series with a cast featuring this years' Tony award winners Brian Stokes Mitchell and Heather Headley, along with Nathan Lane and Randy Graff. Wonderful Town was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and features Kim Criswell, Audra McDonald, Brent Barrett and Peter Hampson.
