Lemon Honey Scones 3 1/4 c flour 1T baking powder 1t salt 6T unsalted butter 1 c milk 1 egg 1/4c honey 1 1/4t grated lemon zest Heat over to 400. In a large bowl, combine 3 cups of the flour the baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine the milk, egg, honey and zest and beat until the honey dissolves. Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture and pour in milk mixture. Dough will be soft. Sprinkle a work surface with the remaining 1/4c flour and gently knead the dough on the floured surface until smooth. Divide into two round pieces about 1" thick and 5" in diameter. With a lightly floured knife cut each piece into 6 wedges. Bake on ungreased baking sheets until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Cal 215 fat 7g Chol 36mg
