Yesterday I received an e-mail from our cousin Linda, in St. Louis, telling me that the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team will be playing in St. Louis Thursday and Friday night of our reunion weekend, that is the 15th and 16th of July. Don, Linda's husband can get tickets for $10 and $15, and wants to know if anyone would like to go to any of those games. I would certainly love to go, on Friday night, for it is a free night, and on Thursday everyone will be arriving at different times, and we do not know at what time the game will be.

If anyone is interested, please let us know, as soon as possible, so Don can purchase the tickets. You know that with Mark McGwire playing for them, the fans will probably pack the stadium, and if we wait too long, we might not be able to get tickets.

Also, I would like to let you know that we already signed the contract with the Airport Radisson Hotel in St. Louis, for the weekend of our Reunion. We have 30 rooms blocked, a banquet room for 60 or more people, Hospitality room, etc. I must ask you to please call the Hotel personally, and make your room reservation. When you call, make sure to tell them that you are part of the LESLIE FAMILY REUNION, and they will immediately know what the rates of the rooms are for us. Remember that it is $69.00 for King Size Bedded Room and $79.00 for 2 Double Bedded Room and $10.00 for Rollaway. Plus 13.725% tax plus .85 tax. Example: If your room is a $79.00 you add the taxes, and you will be paying a total of $90.69 per night. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. There are a few connecting rooms available but only King connected to a Double and only 2-3 per floor. If you need something like this to accommodate your family, I suggest to call the earliest and make your reservations as soon as possible to insure what you want.

Reservations must be made before JUNE 15, 1999, otherwise, they cannot guarantee the rate. If you make your reservation and for some reason you cannot attend at the last minute, you can cancel your reservation before 4:00 p.m. on the day of check-in.

PLEASE, don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today. If you are certain now that you will be attending the Reunion, why not make the reservations as soon as possible. Humans tend to postpone things for a later date, and then realize they are too late!

I would like to know when you call and make your reservation, so if you would please drop me an e-mail and let me know, I would really appreciate it. This way I can have my lists and surprises up to date, and not be caught out of guard at the last minute. Thanks for your cooperation.
