Hello my dear Family:

I seems like it has been a long time since I wrote you, but there was really not much to report.

I spoke with Linda and Don Grabel last week, and Don informed me that he had already purchased the Baseball tickets for the people that had requested them:  Cristina 2, Joey 5, Leslie 2, Jack Henshaw 1, Don 2, and 4 for us.  He purchased 4 extra tickets for some of you that would like to go at the last minute.  The tickets are $16.00 each and he says there is no problem for him if we paid for the tickets when we saw him at the Reunion.  We will be sitting together in two rows of ten, so get ready to have fun!

Also, he mentioned that we could go on the train from the Hotel to the stadium and that if I could arrange for the Hotel to pick us up after the game.  I spoke with Ms. Karen Bagot, who is the Sales Manager at the Hotel, and she told me that we could go in the Metro Link to the stadium and come back the same way and that the Hotel Vans would pick us up at the Airport and bring us to the Hotel.  But we had to make sure that we got to the airport before 12:00 midnight, because that is when the Vans stop working.

She also told me that she had checked with the operators of the 800 number and that unfortunately there had been a mix-up regarding our Reunion, but she had fixed everything and now anyone that calls that number will have no problem.  Regarding all of you that already have made their reservations and were not sure if the Hotel would have them, there is no problem, I have checked with them and everyone is accounted for. Please do not forget to let me know as soon as you make your reservation, so I can write it down in my list.  That way we can double check with them as the Reunion gets closer.

Cousin Gillian asked me to let you know that unfortunately she is coming to the Reunion alone and has already made her reservation, and that if any of you ladies is also coming alone, she is willing to change her reservation to a double room.  So please let us know.

I am still waiting to receive the cost for the Tour.  As soon as I have something, I will let you know.

We have added several e-mail addresses to the list I sent you before, so here they are so you can add them to your address book:

Don't forget to check the Leslie Web page http://chebucto.ns.ca/~lfoster/lesliereunion every now and then because Leslie has been adding information and biographies from some of us.  Please send him your biography so it too can be added.  This way we can start to get to know each other before we get to the Reunion.

It is all for now.  Stay in touch and take care.

All my love,

Zulema

SUBJECT: Idea!

Hello again:

I forgot to mention that we have this great idea! I would like your comments on it.

The night of our Farewell Banquet, each on us can bring a gift, according to gender, to raffle among all of us. Children too, they can bring a gift for someone more or less their age. It does not have to be an expensive thing, $15 to $20, I think would be fine. This will be a great moment for all of us to be able to exchange and remember someone special for that little something.

I know for a fact that many of you love arts and crafts and are very good at it. You can do something with your own hands and give it a special meaning. Others are very good cooks, and maybe you can prepare a little recipe book with your favorite recipe s. Or for those that really do not have time to do anything by hand, you can bring something typical of your hometown or country.

These are only some ideas. Please let us know what you think and give us your ideas. There is still a lot of time to start working on this little project.

Talk to you later,

Zulema
