- Phone 494-8006, 8 data bits, No parity, 1 stop bit. VT100 terminal
emulation
- Interface same regardless of what platform you are using
- Recommended communications programs for
- DOS: Telix 3.22, Telemete 4.12?, Procomm Plus
- Windows: Terminal, Telix for Windows, NO Quicklink II
- OS/2: ZOC (V2.052) 2.05, HyperAccess Lite can be used
- Mac: Z-term

- User Support at CCN is a volunteer activity. Please refer to online
documenation whenever possible. Questions which have been answered
elsewhere sap volunteer energy and divert it from those who try to help
themselves.

Teaching New Users
- Most of them may not be computer aware
- Willing learners but may not be comfortable with a computer
- Easy to lose your way in Lynx
- Return vs enter
- Have patience
- Rather then demonstrate things to them, let them work their way
through using the keyboard
- Use analogies when describing concepts
- Encourage questions
- Each using arrow keypad rather then 3 directions and return (joystick
analogy)
