Action Plan

Currently these are our activities:

• We have been actively soliciting funding from the Provincial Government specifically from the Economic Renewal Department from a fund set up by a Federal/Provincial agreement and from other sources.
• We have recently signed an agreement with Halifax Cable and Access Cable, Dartmouth in which $10,000 is donated to Chebucto Community Net by Halifax Cable and Access Cable, Dartmouth.
• Sun Microsystems Ltd. has agreed to help us in unspecified ways and tied this help with government funding.
• We are actively recruiting for the Resource Development Committee. If you think you can help please let us know.

We are preparing to approach potential donors in two areas,

1. Prepare and conduct a campaign to attract donors for a modem/phone line package.

2. Prepare and conduct a campaign to attract major corporate donors.
