Presentation of Brigatine Coin

In celebration of Canada’s rich sailing heritage, the Royal Canadian Mint’s third Tall Ships Collection Sterling Silver coin, featuring the Brigantine, was presented to the Captain of the Canadian-built Brigantine Playfair. This brigatine is taking part in the 2007 Halifax Tall Ships Festival.

Dignitaries from the Waterfront Development Corporation Ltd., Purdy's Wharf and the coins' designer also attended the presentation and were presented with coins.
