Andy et al:

The Marsh Wren

This wren is a regular transient or vagrant in fall (earliest 5 Sept.)
and early winter, with more than 130 recorded, some staying beyond
December (latest 15 Feb.). It is less common in spring, but small
numbers nest in marshes near the NB border. They have also been heard
singing at Bellisle Marsh, Ann., and a fledglings were noted 10 Sept.
2003 at Roberts I., Yar.

So, Always worth recording in summer, especially if resident in marshes.

Cheers, Ian

Ian McLaren
