First real frost here this morning in White Point, Queens. Roof was white and car had a skim of ice over it. brr....... am not sure I am ready for what is coming. The wild asters have been spectacular, forming drifts of blue along the roads. They will be gone by noon. Bird wise it is very quiet right here but a friend across the headland in Mersey Point has many more than she needs or even wants. All small, many Goldfinches, chickadees and all looking for sunflower seeds. Marg in White Point http://MargMillard.ca
