Yesterday, here at me cottage in Cape George,Richmond County I had 4 gray jays at my flat feeder scooping up sunflower seeds just like the blue jays do! In all the years that I have been feeding birds ,this was a first! I've always had gray jays around but they would never eat the seeds.Has anyone else out there ever seen them eat sunflower seeds before?I snapped a picture of them and got them on video.
