It appears that this year's crop of pheasant chicks have mostly survivied to adulthood. Last winter we fed 8-9, 3 males.
they are hard to count because come in small groups but this morning, we did see and count 13 at once, and lots more males.. Later another small group came with 2 hens and 3 males- one of whom is "the big guy" who thinks he owes this place.
