Flying Squirrels

Rachel Thibodeau, Wildlife Researcher, with the Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute will update us on their research programme and illustrate the variety of techniques they use in her presentation: "From Tree to Tree: Flying Squirrel Monitoring". Flying squirrels need mature trees to climb for gliding and as places to sleep during the day. Thus where they are found they may be good indicators of landscape connectivity. They are also fascinating and, sadly, rarely seen by most of us.

Location: Bridgewater High School, Library
Date: Wednesday, November 10, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m.

All are welcome!
