Nice find! Where were you able to view the swan from? I'd like to swing by the
lake before class tomorrow.
This has me wondering yet again about that big white gooselike bird I saw on
Grand Lake back in October. I'd almost decided it must have been a white Canada
Goose, but now a Tundra Swan shows up not that far away from where I saw it.
Although it seems odd that it wouldn't have been seen earlier, if it is the same
bird. Ah well, I'll never know for sure.

Subject: [NatureNS] Tundra Swan First Lake Sackville Photo
(I had sent an earlier email to NatureNS with the Tundra Swan photo attached but
it hasn't come through to my inbox so perhaps having the attachment slowed it
down. So you will probably end up getting this twice...this email without the
attachment.)
I have posted photos to my website of the Tundra Swan, taken this afternoon at
First Lake, Sackville. Swan was discovered by Peter LeBlanc. To view photos
please go to:
http://www.pbase.com/rosemarygallingernature
Once the photo gallery opens, just click on Waterfowl of Canada, then click
the individual thumbnail photo to view the Tundra Swan (once photo is open hit
Next at the top right hand of the page to view next photo). I am in the process
of going through the photos so may load more this evening. I will also post a
cropped photo for an easier view of the yellow teardrop field mark.
