Today I found what I have identified as a Pink-footed Goose in a small group
of Canada Geese in Knoydart, Antigonish County. They were in a pasture just
east of the barn at Frazer Hunter's organic milk farm in Knoydart (Civic No.
7037 on Route 245). They then flew to a farm pond that is just out of view
at the far side of the pasture.

If you go to see the bird and it is not in the pasture, the owner asks that
you cross the pasture to access the pond and not walk up the driveways to
the house or barns in order to avoid disturbing the dogs. You will need
boots.

I have a couple of record photos at
http://picasaweb.google.com/j.f.kearney/PinkFootedGoose#. Through the
binoculars at fairly close range I saw that the legs are definitely pink and
not orange.
