Merry Christmas, all.

We spent Christmas with friends in Granville Ferry, Annapolis
County. A few of our more interesting bird sightings:

From Annapolis Royal Marsh (still unfrozen) on Dec. 24:

Bufflehead - 90+
Hooded Merganser - 17
Lesser Scaup - 2
American Coot - 1

 From Granville Ferry:

Baltimore Oriole, female (Dec. 26, but present for nearly two weeks)
pair of Northern Cardinals
Purple Finch - 1

From Belleisle Marsh (frozen) (Dec. 26):

Rough-legged Hawk, dark phase

Cheers,

Blake
