Two friends, Nancy and Scott Burbidge, have been seeing a female EASTERN TOWHEE since early December, and their last sighting was on about Dec. 28/10. They live at 664 Canard St., 582-3933. They emphasize that they have seen the bird only several times (6-8) over that period of 3 weeks or so (but they don't look out at the feeders much after breakfast time). Drive east from "Jawbone Corner" (jct. of Hwy. 358 (from Pt. Wms. to Canning) and Canard St. (Hwy. 341?)), go a few kilometres and look for their number on the north side of the road.
