There is a seal currently sitting on the Lawrencetown Lake Marsh ice across
from the east end of the Lawrencetown Beach parking lot. Here is a photo
taken just before dusk:

This seems like a very unusual location as it is fairly far from where the
lake empties into the ocean.  Another local resident stopped when I was
taken photos and mentioned that the seal has been there since 10:30 this
morning.
