A couple of years ago I was on the old railway bridge taking pictures of =
some goldeneyes on the lake side and a seal popped up. It must have went =
right under me while I was on the bridge. The goldeneyes were not happy =
to see it, I was kind of expecting to see one get gobbled up.=20

Subject: [NatureNS] Seal - Lawrencetown Lake

There is a seal currently sitting on the Lawrencetown Lake Marsh ice =
across from the east end of the Lawrencetown Beach parking lot. Here is =
a photo taken just before dusk:

This seems like a very unusual location as it is fairly far from where =
the lake empties into the ocean. Another local resident stopped when I =
was taken photos and mentioned that the seal has been there since 10:30 =
this morning.
