Barb and Pat, I doubt that rough-legged hawks would go after pigeons,  
unless one was injured or dead -- I once heard of a rough-leg being  
attracted to a road-killed pheasant and getting hit by a car itself  
(and later rehabbed by Hope Swinimer), but generally rough-legs are  
mousers -- but I've been wrong before!  Cheers from Jim
