SSN is cohosting(with Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation) a community
and anglers meeting for everyone with an interest in the Petite River
and its watershed and our very special Atlantic Whitefish(AWF). As
many of you know, this watershed is home to the only known world
native population of this species!

Members of the Species-at-Risk AWF Conservation and Recovery Team
will update scientific, breeding and habitat research. Live AWFish
will make a rare public appearance! There will be displays,
door prizes and refreshments. This is a great opportunity to hear what
goes into a Species-At-Risk Recovery Plan.

Location: Petite Riviere Fire Hall 18 Petite Riviere Rd (at the
bridge in Petite)
Date: Thursday, March 3 ( snow date: March 11)
Time: 6:30 pm

Call Jill Comolli at 766-4697 for more information. See you there!
