About an hour ago (ca. 5pm) Anne and I found a Graylag Goose among a
large flock of overwintering Canadas right at the head of Yarmouth
harbour. It has a wild phenotype, is right at home among the Canadas,
and looks in every detail like the Colchester Co. bird. Maybe it is.

The bird was close this evening, but the lighting and wind conditions
were difficult (sunset and -10C wind chill, for example), so we had
difficulty digiscoping the bird. We will try again in the morning.

There was also a nice drake Eurasian Wigeon among the many waterfowl -
but it kinda paled in comparison.

Does lightning strike twice?
