Index of Subjects Yesterday as so many others reported, we had a Fox Sparrow showup in our backyard along with 3 Song Sparrows (first of the year). The Song Sparrows moved on but the Fox Sparrow was back today. Also yesterday two of our three Pileated Woodpeckers came to our suet feeders. They have been absent for 2 weeks although I saw them on our pine trees since then. Flickers are now starting to call. While out walking this evening heard what sounded like a Phoebe but traffic was heavy at the time. Of course when I stopped the bird was quiet. Hopefully it was something else since a flycatcher will have difficulty finding any bugs in the temps. of the next 5-6 days. Not Spring yet Folks!! Angus
