Although my area for the May 14 Nova Scotia Migration Count was in NE Kin=
gs Co.=2C after we had finished that and found no swifts=2C I decided to ch=
eck those at the Middleton R. H. S. to add a species to the day (and my yea=
r) list=2C expecting that someone else would be there to get a number for t=
he NSMC. I saw no one else at the usual observation point while the swifts=
were entering the chimney=2C so am passing these data along for anyone in=
terested. I got there at 2020=2C the first swift entered at 2024=2C and no=
more until 2030. By 2035=2C 86 had entered=2C but many were stilll circli=
ng and feeding. The last group entered by 2040=2C and my final count was 1=
89. Weather was overcast=2C with drizzle=2C and temperature about 13 degre=
es Celsius.
