Hi all
Paul MacDonald left a message to say he saw the Jaeger this evening ( May 17th) in the usual spot about 2/3 way down the beach road at Melmerby PP. It lifted as he drove by it to Roy I. and settled down again.
I myself have not seen the bird sitting. Both times I saw it, it was in flight and it looked like it could fly pretty well especially the day it was being chased by the Bald eagle
but maybe the Eagle had sensed the injury was was trying to take advantage. I suspect it might be quite difficult to capture the bird.
cheers
Ken

PS fem. Rose-breasted Grosbeak at my Plymouth feeder this evening.
