Hello everyone,

There are some new and exciting developments from the Maritimes Butterfly
Atlas. The 2010 Newsletter can be downloaded at
http://www.accdc.com/butterflyatlas/2010%20MBA%20Newsletter.pdf. The 2010
records received to date are posted on the Atlas website
(http://www.accdc.com/butterflyatlas/Results.html). Species profiles are now
available for every species that has been recorded in the Maritimes
(http://www.accdc.com/butterflyatlas/Checklist.html). As the weather warms
up, don't forget to check out the discussion on the Atlas' Google Group
(http://groups.google.com/group/maritimes-butterfly-atlas?pli=1). Finally,
the Atlas has also launched a Blog
(http://maritimesbutterflyatlas.wordpress.com/). Blog posts will summarize
recent sightings and provide a forecast of what will be flying in the coming
weeks. New posts will appear on the Blog every couple of weeks.

Be sure to get out in the next few weeks to look for spring-flying species
like elfins!

Cheers,

John

PS: If you have photos or specimens from 2010 it is not too late to submit
them.
