BlankA friend tells me a bear has had its way with her beehives in =
Freeport, Long Island, Digby County. She has seen the bear, and has =
photos. No one I know around here can recall the last time they saw a =
bear on Long or Brier Islands. Apparently they've been seeing bear at =
the end of Digby Neck, around East Ferry, so apparently this one swam =
across Petite Passage, as the deer sometimes do.=20
